Hi I have just come out of the shower, I used a cotton bud on both my ears an there was a little lump of blood in my right ear. So I used another cotton bud and it was still bleeding. No headaches. No pains. Just little bit of blood Can you help me
Thanks for your query .As per your query you have ear bleeding post injury .The symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards fracture of skull near ear canal due which bleeding occur , ear drum rupture . It could also be possible that there is injury to any facial soft tissue due to which bleeding occur . I would suggest you to consult doctor without any delay or ear get clogged and blood clot interrupt airway passage of ear canal off and on with opening and closer of mouth. You should consult an Otolaryngologist and get an Otoscopic examination done and if perforation is ruled out and if it is small you will be advised to take antibiotics, Anti-inflammatory painkiller, decongestant as well as avoiding loud sounds and water exposure like swimming. Large perforation need surgical correction like tympanoplasty .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
