Hi I have my ear ringing for over a week now. I went to the doctor they gave me antibiotics , however when i have antibiotics the ringing becomes louder. The doctor mentioned that my ear drum looks unhealthy and there are white spots on ear drum. I remember i used cotton bud a lot. Now i am feeling sick as well, head ache and sneezing.

Hi

Welcome in HCM.

I understand your concern and as you said that your symptom of ringing in ear is only for a week and you are also having sneezing, headache & cold. This indicates that your tinnitus is because of upper respiratory tract infection and probably it is due to eustachian tube dysfunction.

Here I would like to suggest you to be remain in contact with your doctor for proper recovery.

Thanks.
