Suggest Remedy For Eczema On Legs With Noticeable Varicose Vein
I have been dealing with a form of eczema on one of my legs now for about five years it seems. I ve tried different steroid creams prescribed by a dermatologist and a multitude of other creams and so forth. It seems to be worse now in the summer. It s easier to scratch at it during this time of the year. At times it can also hurt along with the itching. The form on my shin is like scaly, and then along my inside calf muscle it starts out like little bumps under the skin and then turns itchy and like patches. Along this area of my calf I also have a pretty noticeable varicose vein. Not sure if that has something to do with it or not. I would appreciate any help or advice you can give me. Thank you.
These form of eczema that you are talking about seems to be due to varicose veins and is called venous stasis eczema. The best treatment is not to stand for long durations and to reduce stasis of blood in the legs by raising them after prolonged periods of standing. Also, try to wear compression stockings so they push the pooled blood upwards.
