Suggest Remedy For Excessive Sweating In A Child
My 1 year old just recovered from a bout of gastro but for the last 2 weeks the sweat on his head smells very sour, almost like vinegar. Hes always been a sweaty baby but theres never been a smell, and the sweat on his body has no odor at all,even now. Should i be worried?

Your child is 1 year of age and the sweat on his head is smelly like vinegar, this is probably body odor or osmidrosis. Usually the sweat is odorless, but sometimes it becomes smelly because of breakdown of sweat by bacteria on skin into acids. To prevent body odor or osmidrosis, you should bath the baby daily with warm water, clothing with natural fibers should be done as it allows better evaporation of sweat.
