Hello. I have been previously diagnosed with a high pap smear test result and have had genital liasons and a possible cervical cancer on the top of my cervix layer. The liasons have been removed and cleared and Also my pap smear came back low grade in november last yr. i havnt had any other problems since. Recently tho, a day or so, i have been sexually active and i noticed that i have bled a bright red in colour, and that lasted a day. I also had pain in my abdomen. Should i get this checked? Can this be serious? I am also due for period in a couple of days. Thankyou
based on what you wrote, it sounds like the cervical lesions have been fixed, and the low garden lesion you describe probably just needs to be followed by your doctor and will usually resolve on its own. some pain and bleeding with sex can be caused by many types of irritation, and if it resolves on its own I wouldn't worry too much. however, if it persists and continues to be a problem, you definitely need to see your doctor to figure out what it is. it is possible that a polyp, cyst, infection, or other issue might be the cause and needs to be treated.I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any more questions.
