Deficiency of iron causes low
haemoglobin levels which is commonly called as
Anaemia.
Anaemia can be corrected with good diet rich in iron,B12 ,
folic acid and also vitc which is required for its absorption.
Include atleast one green leafy vegetable in the diet daily.
Include direct iron sources like chicken, leanmeats, fish, nuts ,beans ,milk or dairy products in the days meal.
Vitc enhances iron absorption so include citrus fruits and vegetables like tomato, cabbage, peppers, brocolli,capsicum in diet.
Dont over cook or fry foods as its nutrient content is lost.
