Hello Dr, I have had grey patches on my skin particularly in the skin folds in the arms . They are also present in the thigh and abdominal region. It was diagnosed as lichen planus pigmentosa after a biopsy. The dr prescribed Tacrolimus ointment and Antoxid tablets. I have also been asked to avoid the sun and use suntan regularly. The biopsy also indicated that it is in late stage. While i am continuing with the ointment and tablets, I am still worried. How long does this condition stay and am I taking the right medication? Pls advise.

Suggest Remedy For Grey Patches On Skin
Hello, Thanks for the query, You are taking the right medication. You can also apply a strong steroid like clobetasol. Also take an antihistamine tablet, This will give you relief. There is no permanent cure for lichen planus. Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
