Suggest Remedy For Hair Color Reaction On Scalp
I am having a hair color reaction on scalp. Over a 6 weeks since I did the color. No sores, scabs or redness. Just itching. Taking allergra once a day which helps. Saw a dermatologist, prescribed shampoo. Got one day of relief from this before the scalp itched bad again. Called Dr. back. Started oral steroids on Friday am. Itch is better during day (taking steroids in am) but itch returns by pm.

It needs to be treated by both topical and oral steroids.
In some cases oral antihistamines or antibiotics are also required .
You should avoid applying the same hair dye in future .
