I have had thinning hair for the past two years, had good thick hair before and no bad hair genetics. Think it might be from bleach burns from two years ago at a salon I went to. Is this possible and if it is, would a dermatologist visit be covered by medi-cal?
Hi. As per your case history of hair thinning, my treatment advice is - 1. Thickness of hair is purely genetic. 2. Take good nutritious diet full of green leafy vegetables and milk. 3. Avoid using any hair conditioner for at least 30 days. 4. Other treatment options are multiple vitamins, mesotherapy done by a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
