Hello,
Welcome to health care magic.
Severe hair loss over few months is called
telogen effluvium.
It is a hair loss pattern usually triggered by a physical illness ( like
viral fever,
typhoid fever, hepatitis etc), crash dieting pr
excessive weight loss which you would have had about 3 - 6 months prior to onset of hair fall.
It could also be due to underlying anaemia, thyroid abnormalities and after delivery.
You have mentioned that your diet is good and you are losing weight.
You need to check your
hemoglobin levels, serum ferritin levels and thyroid status.
Please continue having good diet including green leafy vegetables, eggs, dates.
Try to reduce mental stress by yoga/ meditation.
Check if your current vitamin tablets has 5 mg Biotin. If not, change it to a supplement containing 5 mg Biotin, Cysteine and methionine.
You could also apply a gel containing biotin to your scalp twice a day.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
