Hello. I have a lump the size of a dime in my armpit area close to my right breast. At first is was about the size of a nickel or slightly larger. It had some clear drainage on it's own without squeezing. An unusual abrasion like thing appeared over the lump. I then tried to squeeze out some of the fluid thinking it was an ingrown hair. I couldn't get much fluid out. Then, all of the sudden is shrunk to the size of a dime, is no longer painful but rather hard and uncomfortable against a bra. Is this an infection or something I should get removed to check for cancer?I have a history of fibrocystic breasts. I am 5'4" and 238 pounds. I have hypothyroid. I have a family history of colon and kidney cancer in a maternal great grandmother who smoked and skin cancer in a maternal grandfather. Suggestions?
