What do you recommend for heel spurs that are up against my Achilles.I always have a terrible burning in m ty feet that goes right up my leg.I recently had partial knee replacements on both my knees within the last two years,the pain in my feet have prevented me from making a full recovery from my past surgeries cause the pain is so severe at times.My surgeon said he could do surgery which consists of severing the Achilles and removing the spurs,but says he has only done it for elderly people who just sit around and don t do much.I work in the health care field as a PSW for over 30 years and im quite anxious to return to work.He said that he cannt guarenty the results and signed me off saying I have no restrictions from my past knee surgeries,can u give me some advice as to what I can do as far as surgery on feet or alternatives,The spurs are very prominent and makes it hard to wear closed back shoes which Im required to wear for work
