My 70 yr old fiancé is having trouble with his BP. He will be having back surgery nov 11th. He went to his dr a few days ago and he put him on lisinapril-HCTZ 20/12.5 daily,He s on isosorbid 20mg qday , lisinapril 20 mg a day already. Should I take him to the ER? His BP is 174/92

When on surgery, he might require good control of medications. 3. Not sure, why he is having back surgery. Back exercises and physiotherapy will be helpful. Hope it helps.
