Suggest Remedy For High Fever, Dilated Pupils, Glossy Eyes And Headache In A Child

my granddaughter is 6 she has a fever 102 , her puplis are diailated and eyes are glossy and she is complaining her head hurts is there a need to go to the hospital or just kind of wait it out for a bit , she only ate this morning and all she wants right now is oranges

Hello. I just read through your question.
the symptoms you describe sounds like a typical pediatric viral illness. Fever typically last two to three days, and associated symptoms involving eyes and headaches are very common. I recommend doing your best to control the fever and maintain hydration. If the fever lasts beyond 3 to 4 days or if the symptoms don't completely resolve after 7 days, I recommend consulting with your doctor. No need to run to an emergency room or urgent care
