Suggest Remedy For High Fever, Red Throat And Ears In Children

MY 11 YEAR OLD HAS A FEVER OF 103, REALLY TIRED, RED THROAT , RED EARS . DR. AT URGERNT CARE GAVE HIM A SHOT THIS MORNING AND AN ANTIBIOTIC BUT HE STILL FEELS HORRIBLE AND FEVER IS STILL HIGH. THEY SAID HE HAD A BACTERIAL INFECTION. SHOULD WE GO BACK OR RIDE IT OUT. HE IS LIFELESS.

Hi...initial 2 days of bacterial infection can be like this... But if you feel he's so tired that you areqquoting it as lifeless... I suggest he might improve with some intravenous fluids. I suggest you get back and get the antibiotic also intravenously.
