Suggest Remedy For Hip Pain In An Alzheimers Patient
My Dad has Alzheimers; a few weeks ago he went totally troppo really aggressive, yelling, delusional, refusing to eat drink or take his pills, also went from going on quite long walks to "refusing to get out of the car" barely able to walk. He was taken off to hospital to "calm him down" has been restrained and on various sedatives. nearly died earlier this week of dehydration. Now I'm told he has a broken hip. For goodness sake maybe he was in sever pain all this time and my Mum and the doctors just treating him like he was being "difficult, uncooperative". I live the other side of the world; wish I could trust medical staff to look after my wonderful father; but I really dont trust anyone anymore
Dear I am sorry for the symptoms your father is suffering It is really difficult even for doctors to prevent clinical symptoms of Alzheimer patients Anyway in my opinion your father should get pain killers to reliaf pain and maybe antipsychotics to avoid future delusions or aggressive episodes (seroquel) Hope my answer will help you
