Suggest Remedy For Huge Lump On Forehead Due To Head Injury
My 3 year old son fell on a ceramic tiled floor on his forehead. He has a golfball size lump now. He didn t lose consciousness or vomit. I ask him if he has a head ache but he says no. Should I take him to ER for skull xray? The lump is HUGE. What should I worry about with respect to this fall? Thanks.

It could be a hematoma. It is nothing but a collection of blood underneath the skin. In most cases it will settle by itself. If swelling persists better to consult a pediatrician and get evaluated.
