I have had several episodes of sudden hypertenison.
My normal BP is 90-110's/50-60. When I have had the HTN of sudden onset my BP went to 150-170/88-100. During the last episode I also became tachycardic and lightheaded. I felt like I was going to pass out. I was very scared. A cardiac workup was neg. I am 49 years old and have no health problems and take no meds just vitamins.
