Suggest Remedy For Impingement And Tendinitis In Shoulder

Hi, had op on left shoulder in 2006 to repair collar bone. A plate was inserted with a hock and removed 3 months later.Past few months experiencing pain, MRI confirmed impingement and tendinitis. Had one cortisone injection and physio which irritates it. Have been asked to choose between an op or another injection and more physio. Unsure what to choose, physio thinks I should do non surgical route. I don t feel the treatment is working and want to know if there was debris that needed removing and scar tissue from previous op would this have been visible on MRI scan? Thanks

Thanks for the query.
What your physio told was absolutely right. You should continue cryotherapy along with rest. When the pain reduces start with isometrics followed by ROM exercises.
Ofcourse you can take a MRI to get detailed assessment.
