Dear Dr. Bhatti,
I am a retd prof of sociology now aged 65. From Dec 3, 2009,
I have had infection inside the left side of my nose. The exact
spot has varied. At the moment, it is the tip of my nose which
is infected; it's inflamed and reddish.
During the past two and a half months I have had FOUR courses
of oral anti-biotics and one course of gentamycin injections. I have
consulted an MD doc, an ENT specialist and a Skin specialist.
The infection subsides with antibiotics but does not disappear
totally. I am worried and puzzled.
Please suggest how I need to proceed about my nasal tip infection.
Also tell me which are the popular brands of anti-staphylococcal
antibiotics available in our market.
Thank you.
