Good Day. My right tonsil slightly inflamed for 2 days now. I have the feeling of bursting inside my ear while working and when have my headsets on. I ve been suffering a sore throat for almost a month already. I have no fever. What might be my illness? What are the right things to do. I am female. 28 yo.
Hi.. Welcome to healthcare magic... I had gone through your question..I have seen many patients of similar complaints in my practice... In One saided tonsil enlargement with pain I have always seen an abscess around tonsil..we call it as quinsy... You are getting ear pain because tonsil and ear got same nerve supply...nothing to worry about that...I recommend a course of antibiotics and analgesics for pain relief...if you are not getting relieved the pus has to be drained..its a small opd procedure through oral cavity only we drain it..nothing to worry at all...hope I have answered your question..
