Hello! I have been experiencing severe pressure/pain in the occipital region that travels down to my upper back. I experience intermitten headcahes as well as nasea when the pressure in the occipital region intensifies. This has been an ongoing problem since March of last year. I have had a CT completed which cam back normal. I have also been to physical therapy which provided no relief. The pain seems to be getting worse and the headaches in my frontal lobe more frequent, could you please educate me as to what might be going on.
Hi. I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.
Your symptoms might be due to sinusitis, I advice you to * Have a complete course of antibiotics. * Steam inhalation * Analgesics - Naproxen + Triptans. * Xray PNS * Also to have a consultation with an ENT specialist for further evaluation
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
Regards, Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
