Hello. I am a 27 year old female from Australia. I have had 2 children (youngest is 6 years). I have recently been having irregular periods. My normal is one week of yuck and 5 weeks not. I also would normally get some tenderness of my breasts and acne the week before I get my period. Lately it has not been happening. I do not get the tenderness or acne. Also my flow is much much lighter and it may only last 3 to 4 days. I am currently 2 days into my period (29th November). Before this, my last period was on the 10th November. I have had one odourless, clear watery discharge (I am unsure of the date sorry). I have noticed that the bleeding usually happens the day/night after I have been intimate with my husband. I am not on any medication. I do not smoke. I do not drink. I do not take recreational drugs. I have not been intimate with anyone other than my husband.
Hello, I have gone through the query and understood your concern. As per your description, I observe that your recent menstrual cycles are of decreased time gap and hence of increased frequency. In addition, the duration and amount of flow also has changed. The fact that you observe the discharge after a sexual intercourse indicates the need for a proper local examination to exclude polyps, erosion of the cervix, cervicitis and/or vaginitis. Weight changes, hormone disturbances, general infections and stress are the other possible causes which also need to be excluded. Further management can then be planned. Hope I have clarified your query. Take care.
