Suggest Remedy For Itchiness Caused By Small Pimples In The Fingers

I have this itching tiny pimply thing in my fingers which when touched itches a lot and becomes blisterish and they expand in clusters. some of the them has a central red dot when itched hard. i feel like itching crazy when in contact with hot water or hot temperature. it really is disturbing my day to day work as feel like itching like crazy. those itch bumps are completely dry and not watery. doctor gave me a useless cream named emuvate cream which does not end my itching problem for ever. Please let me know what can these be and how can i get rid of them for ever ? Let me know the medication. The feeling of those blisterish bumps are midway between an ant bite stingy itch with some burning sensation of burnt. Help me asap as my exams are near and i have to write my exams and this is a big disturbing issue for me. help

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case history of pompholyx, my treatment advice is –

1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like fusiderm-b cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
