Suggest Remedy For Itchy Black Patches On Knee And Elbows
Sir my wife has black patches on top of every finger, knees, elbow , fingers of leg behind heal. She feels etching. When consult dermatologist he prescribed some tube and tablets. But no any positive effect is seen only what she feels is less etching growth of the spot stops. Also it makes so much pain and a little bit cut mark on the places from where the finger get fold. Recently a new doctor prescribed me about ELTOCIN CANDIFORCE 100 andALERIDE WITH TRICORT 10 INJECTION. Pl suggest me what should I do.

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is eczema.You must advise her to moisturise the skin by using emolients containing liquid paraffin. Ask her to avoid using detergents. Topical steroid cream like mometasone can be applied over the affected area. Oral antihistamines like fexofenadine may also be used. Regards
