Suggest Remedy For Itchy Rash On Groin With Purple Discolouration
Hi, I have a rash on my groin. It is usually of no colour but sometimes turns purple. when I touch my ground after a couple of hours after cleaning, it feels like a liquid is being released and it goes down to my anus. The join between my anus and my testicles are also itchy now but there is no spots of purple marking or anytging like that. Just at the joint between my leg and groin it is a little purple patch and it seems the liquid is being released from here. This has been going on for a week.. HELP. I haven t applied anytging to it yet.
hi..i read ur case thouroughly and understand ur concern. ur history suggests that u r having lichen planus.it is a kind of skin lesion, non contagious self limiting, very itchy n purplish polygonal ;which is triggered by multiple factors like immune response, stress, allergens and viral infection. If such patient come to my clinic i always advise them to do their hepatitis c profile as lichen planus has got a strong association with hep c. I further suggests u to apply mometasone ointment twice daily on the affected area for 3 weeks. take tab cetrizine 10mg at night for itching. i hope it answers ur question.in case of any query don't hesitate to ask further. wish u good health. regards.
