Suggest Remedy For Itchy Skin

I have returned from a cruise 2 weeks ago. Have itching all over my body, mostly on my backside with welts.It gets worse at night, and have difficulty sleeping. Have changed bedding, clothes,keep showering, and the only thing that helps is a mouthful of Benedril and anti-itch cream.Dont see anything on clothes or bedding,but its driving me crazy.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed acute urticaria.
It is an allergic condition.
Anything including food, cloth, change in climate, pollens etc can cause urticaria.
You need to find out the cause.
Treatment can be with oral anti histamines.
Steroids like prednisolone are also helpful but cannot be used for long.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
