Suggest Remedy For Large Holes On Skin Around The Cheek Area

I have 4 large holes in my skin around the cheek area that I got after covering the zits with sacilyc acne medication from clean and clear. The zits just peeled off the next day and I guess the skin underneath wasn t fully formed. Are these hole permanent and what would be best to treat them? I ve been covering then with hemp lotion and neosporin today and yesterday. All the days before, I ve used cortisone but decided that wasn t working bc it s been 2 weeks with little improvement. THIS IS REALLY BOTHERSOME BC I USYALLY HAVE REALLY NICE SKIN AND THE SKIN ARIUND THESE SORES IS VERY NICE. Please help me, I want to look cute on Halloween!

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of large holes on skin around the cheek area which are due to post inflammatory hyper pigmentation.The pigmentation is produced by excess production of melanin by melanocytes. It is due to clogging of skin pores by bacteria, sebum and sebaceous glands.

I would suggest you to :

- Exfoliate facial skin once a week to remove dead skin.

- Wash your face with face wash containing benzoyl peroxide twice a days with cold water.

- Apply azelaic acid cream both for dark spots and acne twice daily.

- Apply aloe vera gel at night .

If condition persist even after month then consult dermatologist . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , steroid drugs or isotretinoin. Doctor may also recommend laser therapy or chemical peeling for removal of these zits.
