Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a pinhead size skin lesion on the lower leg (about 2 inches above the ankle and on the medial side of the leg, near the shin). It started off as a little blood blister about 2 months ago. I bursted it and since then it did not seem to scap as it should be i.e. forming a flat scale as in a normal wound. Instead, it is like a little hard dot forms in the middle and surrounded by a ring cushion. Looks like a tiny dart board I guess. I can press it down or burst it. And recently I have started wearing an elastic stocking over the leg and that seems to help. If I take the stocking off or rub it, it ll swell up again. My GP gave me Pimicort cream to put on but I don t think it has done anything. The lesion has not grown in size. It is not itchy or sore and it was not an insect bite. I am puzzled.
If no itch, pain or discharge then you can just observe it. And try to keep your legs elevated as much as possible. If any of the above occur then you must consult doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care

Dr. TEJAS KILLEKAR
