Suggest Remedy For Light-headedness On Stopping Toprol

I have been taking Toprol & Diovan HCT for 15 years. The last visit my pulse rate was 49 and my Toprol was discontinued and Diovan HCT was halfed. I am 75 yrs female. Have been feeling lightheaded since. Was wondering why Dr. is taking me down on meds.

the drug toprol you are taking is metoprolol, which decreases your heart rate.probably that is the reason your physician has discontinued it. and get your BP checked once again in 15 days and if it is normal, the dose of Divon HCT will be ok for you. otherwise he may increase it to previous dose.
