Suggest Remedy For Loose Motion With Mucus

Hi My son had loose motion for the past one week with mucus. He used to pass loose stols more that 8 times a day. He is 2 years and 4 months old. The doctor prescribed gramogyl suspension. Just want to ask if it is an antibiotic? or what is it just normal medicine or high dosage??
