Suggest Remedy For Loss Of Appetite In Diabetic Patients
My dad (who is diabetic for last 20 years) 64 years, is undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis at home - every night for last one year. But he has been vomiting a lot for past 3 months. He had some infection few months back where he lost of weight. His appetite has also decreased. His transfer set needed to be changed thrice in last 2 months due to clogging of protein. Please help - how we can increase his appetite and reduce the vomiting? Thanks
first we need yo assess the cause for vomiting .in his case the probable causes could be infection or worsening renal function .there is also the possibly of a gastric ulcer .pl consult your physician about ruling these issues .in the meantime odansetron 4mg three times daily 1/2 he before food will help decrease the vomiting .
