Hi. I was slapped in my face and ear multiple times and now I can t hear out of my left ear. It has been 4 days since the incident so I am trying to see if I should get medical attention. When I yawn however, I can feel air go in and then warm air come out.
Hi. Sorry to know the incidence that occurred with you. Read and understood that you were slapped in your face and ear multiple times. You can not hear from your left ear. There is air passage on yawing.
The ear drum (Tympanic Membrane) very thin and sensitive structure and can get torn / per forated evn on trivial trauma. As you may know the force of the slap is too much and it is possible that the trauma might have disrupted the bony chain too.
I would suggest you the following: Consult an ENT for endoscopic evaluation of the trauma. Audiometry to know the degree of hearing loss. - No ear drops. - Do not blow the nose. - Medicines as per the orders of you Doctor.
