Suggest Remedy For Low Protein Intake With Too Much Carb Intake While Being On Vegan Diet
My 17 yo daughter is eating 12to14bananas per day. She puts them in smoothies. Also eats a lot of dates. She is a vegan. I worry about to many carbs and not enough protein. She is 5 9 and about 130 lbs. she eats avacado and peanut butter for fat . She has acne and thinning hair.
She is definitely missing proteins in her diet.l would suggest following options to add to her diet - 1. Chick peas. 2. Grams. 3. Peanuts 4. Almonds. 5. Beans. 6. Tofu. 7. Soya milk. 8. Protein supplements. She also appears to be deficient in iron for which she can take- 1. Green leafy vegetables. 2. Dates. 3. Jaggery. 4. Raisins. 5. Best option is to take iron supplement.
