Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I havent had ssex since marriage...Since marriage i m feeling my sex drive/libido is not there completely.Tested for testoterone and free T ; both of them are on the lowest range of normal. Have tested my liver function and found it to be absolutely fine...My doc said everything is normal and it is just Physcological ED..However i m not stressed and can clearly see the difference in my sex drive during last six months..I used to feel like masterbating atleast three-four times in a day..However i m not having such feelings now...have been on andrioil testocap for more than a week and have also tried viagra...no improvement in sex drive though partial improvement in ED..Please you also dont tell it as a Physcological ED..I m sure it is not and can feel the difference...

Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Praveen G's Response
Hello, Welcome to HCM,
Sex drive is a subjective one and there is no objective way to measure sexual desire or pleasure and every man has to define for himself whether her libido is adequate for him or not.
The factors that contribute to each individual sexuality are complex and unique and some of the possible reasons may be Poor diet, lack of exercise, sleep loss, excessive alcohol, stress, depression, low thyroid function and sexual performance anxiety.
As your thyroid function test is with in the normal limit. You may require counselling regarding the sexual life which may help you to over come the problem.
The cause for the loss of libido should be evaluated before initiating any measures to boost up the libido. The hormone testosterone can be used to treat low libido along with the medicine viagra. Thank you.
