ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello Adriana!
If the lump is painless it could be more the result of a reflux problem and not a sinus infection, and both steroids and antibiotics could make it worse.
Do some warm saline gargles, avoid fried, processed and spicy food as well as excessive tea, coffee, smoking and alcohol, eat your meals on time and do not lie down after a meal. Try to reduce stress if any.
If all these do not help, you may have to see an ENT for a thorough check up and medication for the acid reflux.
