Suggest Remedy For Lumps In Buttocks

Fell on my back 2 weeks ago. I have a lump on my left buttock about 4 inches in diameter. There is no bruising over lump. It is not resolving and is somewhat painful. Fell off a ladder onto a concrete floor. My mom is a nurse and she thinks it is a hematoma. We have iced an put heat to site daily. I have no insurance. I had other bruising that is getting much lighter.

Hi,Dear,
Thanks for the query to HCM. I studied your problem in depth and I understood your concerns.
Cause of painful lump in buttocks-In your case the cause of the lump,is traumatic hematoma with tissue edema.
Cold Compresses.
Antibiotics to prevent infection of hematoma,
NSAIDs-tabs 1 x 2 times a day,
Aspiration of the mass,when it liquifies and compression bandage to reduce as soon as possible.
Consult ER Surgeon if his services are available nearby.
This advise is based on the facts from the history you give and needs further clinical check.
So don't build up wrong concepts and create more psychic complications in you which would increase risks and costs to you, but just ask a query to HCM and be comfortable to resolve your health issues.
