Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Menstrual like cramps, lower back pain, and pain in lower abdomen are usually due to preterm labour. However, if they have monitored you for uterine contractions in the hospital for three days, then the preterm labour would have been ruled out. Such symptoms are also present in urinary tract infection, so you should get your urine culture and sensitivity test done and get further management accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
