Suggest Remedy For Mild Ear Pain

hello doctor, since last one week i had slight pain some where deep inside my right ear and from last night it started paining little more, whenever i swallow my salive it pains somewhere deep inside my right ear. I would like to tell you that i am a scuba diver, is it related to my diving? Pls let me know when i could see you?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have mild ear pain
which could be due to ear infection. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to take few preventive measures.

- You should take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin you are not allergic to it along with Ibuprofen and Loratadine.

- Put Otogesic ear drops 2-3 times a day.

- Take proper rest.

- Try to avoid excessive use of mobile as it will put more pressure.

If symptoms keeps on persisting you should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. Get all the lab tests done for proper examination.
