Suggest Remedy For Missed Doses Of Siphene

Iam PCOS patient.my period started on 11/11/2014 and doctor advised to take Siphene 50 mg from 13/11/14 onwards(1 tablet per day for 5 days).Unfortunately i forgot to have tablet on 13th to 16th Nov.Please advise shall I take the medicine from Today onwards to 5 days

Hello there,
Thank you for your question.
The medicine you were given was to induce ovulation. It works at a particular time in the menstrual cycle.It should be taken between 3-5th day of the cycle for 5 days. It may not be effective if taken in the later part of the cycle. So I suggest be careful in the next cycle and do not forget to take the medicine as advised. However do continue intercourse as many PCOS patients have stray ovulations and you may never know if this cycle you have ovulated or not.
