Suggest Remedy For Nausea And Fatigue Post Intercourse
I experienced hallucination after taking Avelox. Was seen by two neurologists. The first one ordered an EEG which was normal, but he then referred me to another neurologist who used me as a guinea pig to enable his resident to do a lumbar puncture on me. Was admitted to hospital and given two bags of cortisol. Next, he transferred me to a psych ward. Very disappointed with the doctors who made assumptions on my condition despite my telling them that it was Avelox intoxication that caused the hallucination. The hallucination persisted to this day (1.6 years later), but would like it to go away. Any help you can provide would be most appreciated.
Avelox is a flouroquinilone group of antibiotic and hallucination. I don't think it was due to antibiotic. You should follow the suggestion of your pyschiatrist and should take medications for hallucinations as prescribed by him, a strict adherence to medical therapy is required to treat hallucinations. Its not because of Avelox.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ramesh Kumar
