i go to bed at night as soon as i lay down my nose blocks up i have had my septum operated on thinking this was the problem i have used every available nasal spray poor results i have been to my ent a dozen times he has scoped me says everything looks fine still at night as soon as i go to lay down it blocks i have toget up and walk around til it unblocks i dont get a good nights rest i take a zyrtec every night
Dear noseblock in the night may due to allergy some times allergen like Parthenium plant pollen grain can cause, most common common cold, any itch mites in bed, or seasonal allergy. Some patients chronic sinusitis may cause night time blockade. Dry air can cause this problem, physical obstruction like nasal polyps, deviated septum may cause this.
Treatment
Take tab. Moterleukast and levocegrizine at night time, use water vapor inhalation every day night. Keep your room pet free and dust mite free, avoid cool drinks and freeze water. Avoid cool air conditioning. Use normal Saline nasal spray frequently. Still symptoms not improved consult your doctor.
