Suggest Remedy For Numbness From Elbow To Wrists
I am 31 years old and trying to conceive. I started taking prenantal vitamins about 3 months ago and ever since then I have noticed numbness from my elbows down to my wrists and I have lost some feeling in my pinky fingers and half of the ring fingers. I was just wondering if there was some correlation between the two.

I cannot think of any specific correlation between prenatal vitamins and Arm Numbness to be completely honest. It does sound as though you are having an ulnar nerve paresthesia. The ulnar nerve provides sensation to the 5th digit on the hand (pinky finger), and usually when we see numbness like this in this particular region of the arm we tend to think about something called ulnar nerve entrapment.
This is where the ulnar nerve becomes compressed and can cause pain, numbness and tingling in the forearm and fourth and fifth digits. This is usually diagnosed with an EMG or a nerve conduction study. The causes can be from hitting your "funny bone" actually bending your arm at the elbow for a prolonger period of time. Usually you need to see an orthopedic physician to diagnose this and determine treatment, but please know this can be treated.
