Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

It seems that you have used an local anesthetic in the form of the oral gel in large quantity which has led to numbness of your tongue. It is a short acting local anesthetic and the numbness should go by this time.

I would suggest you to wash your mouth frequently until all the anesthetic agent being washed away. You can have your diet regularly it can also helps to bring back your sensation in the tongue.

If you continues to have this numbness I would suggest you to consult your doctor and inform him regarding this. your doctor may help you out in getting back your sensation.
Thank you.
