Suggest Remedy For Pain After Having Stents Placed
My husband has had 5 stents, 3 weeks ago, through the right/left groins. He s experiencing severe pain on the right side mainly, and abdomen area. He was checked by his vascular doctor with an ultrasound and found that blood flow and stents were all working well. Why he is having right groin and across abdomen area? Thank You.
Stents are typically inserted through the groin area. The pain in the local area is due to the small punctures made in the area to insert the stents.Usually the pain gradually reduces over the next one month time. If the pain is severe, then only he should take a pain killer, as pain killers have side effects.Your husband will be on Aspirin tablet, which also has a mild pain killer effect.
