Suggest Remedy For Pain Due To Blood Clot In Legs

My doctor did a ultrasound of my left leg to see if the superficial blood clot was gone, and mentioned that I have a enlarged popliteal vein in it. That leg does have a little pain right where it is. What do I do about it? Should I go ahead and have the surgery that the Vein Specialist recommended?

thank you for the question.from the finding you mention it would be advisable to remove the deep clot as there are risks of emboli or minor clots to dislodge and go to lungs or into circulation even to brain.Seeing the risk the surgeon may be advising
