Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had pain during sex in the last week and a half, I am on the contraceptive pill but i contracted a UTI in that week so I started taking antibiotics and the cramps were bad so i decided to go off the pill. I continued to have sex with no protection, the cramps decreased, my period didn t come on till a few days but its only a brown discharge, no actual blood and its very light. I want to know why there is pain and if there s signs of me being pregnant.
Pain is not sign of being pregnant. Its normal thing which happens to people sometimes while having sex.
Pain in vagina might having several reasons like low amount of pre cum in vagina and cramps and so on.
If your pain is because of low amount of pre cum in vagina than you should follow something while having sex like go foreplay and Oral sex first before you go for intercourse because it will help for pre cum and also you and your partner will have more pleasure than normal intercourse.
Even different positions while having intercourse will help you for less pain. and gives you more sexual pleasure also.
Still if you had any queries you may concern a good doctor for more help they may help you after physically check.
Hope you will find it helpful.
Thanks & Regards, Dr. Gaurav Prajapati
