Suggest Remedy For Pain In Back, Legs And Ankles
Hi. I have terrible pain beginning at my left back going down my left leg all the way to my ankle. I take Aleve and it works for about 6-8 hours during the day, but at night I can t sleep because of the constant pain. I had some Darvon from 1996. Took one and it was like magic. I now read it has been taken off the market. What can I take comparable to Darvon?

First possibility could be lumbar canal stenosis leading to burning sensation and pain in your leg.
Due to compression of this nerve root there can be leg pain associated with it.
I will advise you to do MRI spine
For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
Vascular claudication can also lead to leg pain which is common in smokers.
