Suggest Remedy For Pain In Chest That Gets Worse On Eating
On sat I ate a hot mini sausage n it burnt on the way down, i was in pain for about 10 minutes then it eased off. However when I awoke on sun I had pain in my chest and it got worse when I had something to eat. I thought I had indigestion so had some gaviscon tablets, which eased the pain. Then today I had a cup of tea and the pain came back. The pain is in the middle of my chest, and I am only in pain when I have a drink or something to eat. Have I burnt and damaged my insides with the hot food on sat? I am really struggling to eat as the pain is becoming unbearable. Please help me, what can I do

Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Yes, it seems mucosal injury has ocurred due to hot mini sausage. 2. Mucosal healing will take upto 3-4 days, without further irritation. 3. Spicy food, hot food or any rough food can cause severe pain due to rubbing of the damaged mucosa and can delay healing further. 4. Need to take soft, and cold food stuff atleast for 3-4 days. It will have soothing effect. After complete healing, you can go back to normal diet. Have good hydration. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again
