Suggest Remedy For Pain In Labia

I have aching pain in my left labia for some time now. No burning or burning when urinating. Thought it was some kind of pulled muscle or strain. Thought maybe clothing down there too tight or sitting for long periods of time crushing the area. I have been wearing loose fitted clothing at home. Warm compacts on occasion to relieve the ache. I m getting frustrated. Should I be concerned? What could it be? What should I do? Appreciate your help. sally

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

Please examine the region first and look if there are any concealed palpable lumps or bumps, as one-sided pain or irritation is usually a cyst commonly called Bartholin's cyst. If so then please write to me using our premium service for confirmation and accurate treatment, wherein you can also attach images of the region for my better examination and more effective treatment advise.

For now please apply a warm compress to the region 3-5 times a day.

Best wishes.
